The Ring

It’s the eve of Judy’s 30th birthday…. We had a sumptuous dinner at Greenbelt 3 and just before leaving the carpark, Eric handed over this birthday gift! ;-)

Our Photo/Video Dream Team

Meet our Photo/Video tandem….. They will ensure that the wonderful memories of our Big Day will be kept and preserved into beautiful photographs (by Paul Vincent delos Reyes); while the vivid and candid moments captured in excellent videography (by Shierdan Pamintuan). For more details, please visit Our Dream Team link. :-)

Trial Hair & Make-Up by Angie & Ogie

It’s our 2nd year anniversary! Since it’s a very special day for us and we’ll be having some fancy dinner, we decided to dress up a bit. :-) To make the celebration more special, Judy scheduled her trial hair & make-up with Angie & Ogie. Guess where was the venue for Her make-over… *wink* *wink*

The Pamamanhikan

29 July 2007, Sunday....“Pamamanhikan” is part of the Filipino marriage tradition wherein the groom-to-be's family, led by his parents, visit the family (usually, this is their first face-to-face meeting ~ unless they have been friends for so long) of the bride-to-be to officially express their son’s intentions to marry the latter’s daughter. Primarily, the guy's family requests the "hand" of the daughter from her parents. Wedding and marriage plans may also be discussed by both parties. Likewise, the guy’s family brings a variety of food to be shared with everyone as part of the celebration for the forthcoming union.

Gown-Fitting

Almost three months to go before our Big Day, Judy gets a text message that her bridal gown is now available for first fitting. There were a few revisions made on the original design ~ happy to see that it turned out great just the same! Generally, this is how her gown looks; minus the beadwork and all. The gown fits perfectly and comfortably.  See for yourself…. ;-)

Pre-nup Shoots

It was a hot Tuesday afternoon and at some point, when Angie & Ogie were “transforming my look,” I thought there’s going to be a downpour of rain. It didn’t worry me as much for I readied a colorful umbrella as part of our props for the shoot…. Alas, the weather cooperated except for the usual humidity! Special thanks to Ate Jobeth & Kuya Junday for allowing us to shoot the first part of our prenups in their very beautiful abode. Sample shots courtesy of our dear photog, Paul Vincent; a few video screen grabs (last four photos) by Shierdan, of course!

Take a peek…. happy viewing!  :-)

Paper Invites

We had our formal invites ready quite early since Judy’s parents had to bring a number of them for mailing abroad. We’re glad that Printed Matter was able to come up with something we just wanted – a simple, classic, elegant design…. Paradoxically, our caricature made our invite more personal and quite unconventional for what we claim as ‘classic.’

Check it out, comments are most welcome! :-)

Monograms

At last, a Do-It-Yourself (DIY) project from us! Please help us choose which monogram to use.  :-)

Gracias! Xie xie!
